 Merrick Malone Principal |

Merrick Malone joined Metropolis in 2000 and brought with him a wealth of experience, having worked both in public and private economic development. While President of URBANCITYFOODS, Merrick directed a minority-owned development company, constructing multiple restaurants in Baltimore, Washington, Detroit, and Chicago. Previously, Merrick served as the District of Columbia's Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and the Director of Housing and Community Development and led the formation of public/private partnerships which financed the construction of neighborhood retail centers. He also negotiated the development of the MCI Arena from concept to completion. Merrick has a law degree from Georgetown University School of Law. |
