As the second employee of Metropolis Development Company, Paul is responsible for integrating the many roles and responsibilities within the company, with the objective of ensuring smooth and seamless operations. Some of his specific responsibilities include pre-development and permitting for projects, managing the customer service department, and managing community relationships. His tenure at MDC fulfills several personal priorities: the revitalization of Washington, providing a more attractive and livable urban environment as an alternative to suburban sprawl. While some call it gentrification, Paul sees it as creating a new urban synergy; a place for personal interactions ultimately contributing to a more dynamic, diverse, and progressive city. While taking day to day satisfaction in adding to the urban landscape, Paul also has a passion for outdoor activities, enjoying National Parks and wilderness mountain areas of the western US. |
